How to support implantation for a Frozen Embryo Transfer.

You have your embryo so all you need now is for it to stick ! Your focus for your Frozen Embryo Transfer is to create a desirable environment for the embryo to implant.  There are certain diet strategies that have been associated with improving the endometrium lining to support implantation.  We will also work together to improve the overall nutritional adequacy to support a potential pregnancy. I advise that we start working together 6-8 weeks pre transfer.

One of the most frustrating things that I noticed when I was doing IVF was all the conflicting nutrition advice.  The evidence around nutrition and implantation is not the  strongest but there are associations between certain diet strategies and the thickness of the endometrium lining. As a CORU Registered Dietitian, it’s my job to only give evidence-based nutrition advice so you will have comfort in the fact that all my advice is safe and true.

My Approach

My approach is a little bit different! I focus on individualised tailored plans based on your food preferences and lifestyle. A key element of this package is supporting you in putting these changes into action, which is why I provide in-between appointment support. It's one thing to be informed about the changes needed, but understanding how to seamlessly integrate them is equally crucial, and that's where I come in. To ensure personalised attention, I only take on a limited number of clients each month, allowing me to focus entirely on YOU. Together, we will craft individualised nutritional plans based on your lifestyle and food preferences, working towards optimising your fertility

  • You will fill out a form telling me all about your fertility journey, medical history and recent blood tests.

  • I will review this form with you at our initial 1 x 60 minute online appointment and we will work together to create an individualised nutritional & lifestyle plan to support implantation. 

  • I will advise on individually tailored fertility supplement plan.

  •  We will have  2 x 30 minute follow up appointments over the course of our time together.

  • You will receive access to videos or PDF’s that I have created discussing nutrition topics that are relevant to you.

  • You will also receive fertility friendly recipes and fertility friendly snack guide.

  • In between appointment messaging support via online GDPR-compliant platform during 

  • In between appointment support via nutrition and lifestyle checks as necessary.

  • As a CORU Registered Dietitian, I can liaise with your GP and Consultant as necessary.

  • I will  spend many hours behind the scenes analysing your intake form, food diaries and researching your case to make sure I am providing you with the most up to-date guidance

As a CORU Registered Dietitian, my services are recognised by health insurance companies, please contact your provider to check your entitlements for your level of cover. My services are also eligible for health expense relief.
